Debra was raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Il. She joined the Army at age 17 and served a total of 14 years. She started her medical career as a Field Medic and then went on to nursing school through the Academy of Health Sciences in Ft. Sam Houston, Tx. She served in several Army hospitals, both in the U.S. and abroad; working in Med-Surg, Mother Baby and ICU. She was honored to serve as an medical instructor for the Corps of Cadets at West Point Academy while stationed at West Point.
Her passion for holistic medicine drew her to the health and wellness field, which then led her to becoming a Nationally Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, as well as a certified Mind Body Medicine Practitioner. Her love for Mind-Body Medicine keeps her active as faculty, by training other individuals nationwide throughout the certification process.
Debra has been working as a Health and Wellness Coach since 2019 and has experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD.
Having lived through childhood and military trauma herself, her passion is giving back to the community and helping others heal. Her focus is on empowering individuals to embrace physical and emotional wellness and navigate personal growth and lifestyle changes one step at a time.
